The Galileo web strategy is not controlled centrally, it belongs to each regional Marketing Manager. This has resulted in a fragmented web presence making it difficult for customers to understand Galileo's vision as a company and access key product information.
Galileo was looking to implement a central e-business strategy involving design standards and content management. Galileo wanted to ensure buy-in from the outset of the project across all countries, because individual managers felt very strongly about their marketplace and the sites that they had created.
MarketingNet provided key consultancy and facilitated a dedicated workshop for all marketing representatives across Europe. The format of the day was tailored to suit the needs of both Galileo and the delegates to discuss issues, share knowledge, identify problems and brainstorm solutions. A mixture of speaker presentations and practical workshops ensured that all delegates were involved and left the day feeling interested and enthused.
The workshop was successful in that not only did it bring together a disparate team it highlighted common goals and produced a starting point for future development and communication.
